Introduction
ASTM A312 TP316Ti seamless pipes are designed for extreme applications requiring superior resistance to intergranular corrosion and elevated temperatures. With the addition of titanium (Ti) stabilization, this advanced alloy prevents carbide precipitation during welding or prolonged high-heat exposure, ensuring unmatched longevity in aggressive conditions.TP316L is a low-carbon variant of austenitic stainless steel (316L grade) commonly used in tubing and piping systems. It contains 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum, and a maximum 0.035% carbon, enhancing corrosion resistance—particularly against chlorides and acids.
Key Features
Titanium-Stabilized Durability: Ti minimizes sensitization risks, outperforming standard 316 in welded or cyclic thermal processes (up to 800°C / 1472°F).
Enhanced Corrosion Resistance: 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum combat chlorides, sulfuric acid, and marine environments.
High Mechanical Strength: Tensile strength ≥515 MPa, yield strength ≥205 MPa, ideal for high-pressure systems.
