S32750 GRADE Duplex SS SMLS TUBE

ASTM A270 covers seamless and welded austenitic stainless steel tubing for sanitary applications in industries requiring high purity and corrosion resistance. S32750 (also known as UNS S32750 or Zeron 100) is a super duplex stainless steel with an austenitic-ferritic microstructure, offering exceptional corrosion resistance, strength, and durability.

S32750 is the preferred choice for extreme hygiene environments where both aggressive corrosion risks (e.g., high Cl⁻, low pH) and mechanical stress (e.g., high-pressure systems) are present. Its combination of super duplex properties ensures longevity and compliance in the most demanding sanitary applications.

Exceptional Corrosion Resistance: PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) of ~40–43, surpassing standard duplex (e.g.,S32205) and austenitic grades. Resists corrosion in environments with  Cl⁻> 1,000 ppm,000 ppm or low pH (e.g., pH < 3).

Superior Mechanical Strength: Yield strength ~2.5× higher than 316L stainless steel, enabling thinner-walled tubing for the same pressure rating. Reduces material costs and installation complexity in large-scale systems.

Hygienic and Low-Maintenance Design: Electropolished surfaces minimize biofilm formation, critical for preventing microbial contamination in long-term use. Reduces the need for frequent disassembly and manual cleaning.

Temperature Stability: Performs reliably in wide temperature ranges(-20°C to 300°C), making it suitable for hot CIP cycles(e.g., 130°C steam)and cold storage systems(e.g., glycol-cooled lines at -10°C).
