Introduction
ASTM A240/A240M 904L/N08904 Stainless steel seamless pipes are the pinnacle of corrosion-resistant alloys, engineered to thrive in highly aggressive media such as sulfuric acid, chlorides, and seawater. With 19%-23% chromium, 23%-28% nickel, 4%-5% molybdenum, and 1%-2% copper, this super-austenitic stainless steel delivers unmatched resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC), outperforming conventional 316/316L alloys.

Extreme Corrosion Resistance: Exceptionally high PREN (≥37) ensures reliability in sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and chloride-rich environments (e.g., marine, desalination).
Acid Compatibility: Copper addition enhances resistance to reducing acids like sulfuric at all concentrations.
Robust Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength ≥490 MPa, yield strength ≥220 MPa, maintaining integrity under high-pressure flows.
